Amy Winehouse just died??

I know the reports about her being on drugs and alcohol but I don’t have anything to say about that. Amy Winehouse was a talented singer and now she’s dead? Wow here is the report:

Troubled U.K. pop star Amy Winehouse was found dead Saturday in her London home, according to multiple British wire reports. Britain’s Sky News reported that paramedics were called to her home at just after 4 p.m., but the 27 year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Winehouse publicists in the U.S. and Great Britain have not yet responded to requests for comment. No reason has yet been cited as a cause of death.

Winehouse had recently canceled her summer European tour dates after a disastrous performance in the Serbian capital of Belgrade in which the singer was heavily booed after arriving late and then staggering through the performance. Such erratic behavior has largely been the norm for Winehouse since her 2006 effort “Back to Black” catapulted her to stardom. 

Winehouse released her debut, “Frank,” in 2003, a collection of jazzy neo-soul tunes. Her 2006 album, “Back to Black,” saw Winehouse remade as a tough, no-nonsense R&B singer in a ’60s-inspired vintage mode. Working with rising producer Mark Ronson and New York’s acclaimed rhythm & blues crew the Dap Kings, “Back to Black” was heavy on noir imagery and recalled the early days of Motown, most notably in the hit singles “Rehab” and “You Know I’m No Good.”

The album and its singles were the recipients of numerous accolades at the 2008 Grammy Awards, including song and record of the year for “Rehab.” Winehouse was named best new artist at the ceremony. Just before the 2008 Grammy Awards, Winehouse was the subject of much speculation as she had entered a rehabilitation facility and was denied a U.S. visa. She performed on the live Grammy telecast via satellite from London.

A third album was long rumored but never materialized, and much of Winehouse’s post-”Back to Black” career was mired in sudden stops and starts and troubles with abuse and the law. She was due to be a headliner at the 2009 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival but was forced to cancel after being charged with assault for allegedly attacking a fan week before the festival.

Winehouse has recorded a song for Tony Bennett’s “Duets II,” which is scheduled for release in September.

Katt Williams goes crazy again in 2011. This time in New Mexico!

Pray for one of the funniest comedians of all time. He apparently kinda lost it in New Mexico. One of the peeps who was organizing this whole thing hit up AllHipHop:

Ok normally I would’nt even say anything or get involved. But I want to say that Big Moon and I had nothing to do with the promotion, booking, organizing, or anything on this event besides hosting it. Yes it was unfortunate what happened, and I’m not taking sides. However anyone that was there, saw Katts behavior for themselves. Spitting chewing tobacco in his hands and rubbing it in his hair, yelling at the audience, leaving the stage to pray, doing push ups, and the list goes on. He did know about the show, he did get paid, he even did a drop on the air talking about how excited he was to come to albuquerque. Shawty, AJ, The JDS and us all did our jobs to make sure everyone was comfortable and had the best time possible. NO ONE had control over Katt but Katt. He showed up late, got served papers, and disappointed alot of people. I again am not defending the actual promoters but everyone who was backstage including Samuel L. Jackson could see that everyone was doing what they could to accomodate Katt and his late arrival and his stage show AND could see that something was wrong with him. Im a huge Katt Williams fan and was sad to see him in that state. But no is responsible for Katt but Katt. -AllHipHop.com

Amber Rose DENIES sending Naked Pics to Nicki Minaj’s EX!

So Amber Rose reportedly got naked for Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend. Did I believe it? Ummmm. Yeah! Why? Don’t know! Here is what Amber said in response to that:

“These blogs do nothing but try to ruin ppls lives I DID NOT send pics to anyones boyfriend pls stop with the lies. Its so ridiculous. smh,” she tweeted June 28th.

Is she talking about this blog? She better be!! I hope this isn’t true. I hope she was sending those pics to my Uncle…..

Amber Rose apparently got booty ball naked for Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend. Exclusive story broke by MediaTakeout:

According to our insider, Amber Rose had an INAPPROPRIATE relationship with Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend Safaree . . . and that she sent him NEKKID PICS of herself . . . giving her cooch the DUECES!!!

The insider tells MediaTakeOut.com, “At Nickis birthday in Vegas on [December 9th] weekend, Nicki caught her boyfriend Safaree in Amber’s room . .. she knew something was going on.” And there’s more, “Later to find out by going into Safaree’s phone, [Nicki learned] that Amber was sending Safaree naked pictures of herself via bbm.”

Kanye disses Jay-Z at the show?

Jay-Z and Kanye were supposed to perform last night, but there was a slight change in plans.

On Thursday night, Kanye West kept fans — and Jay-Z — waiting three hours before he hit the stage at Skylight One Hanson in Brooklyn. Jay cooled his heels for hours in a car outside the packed art deco venue. Sources said he was waiting for West to start the gig so that the duo could perform together. But Kanye, who’s known for making audiences wait, took too long and Jay-Z left. -New York Post

Wow, looks like Kanye had other plans. Hopefully they can get it together before the album drops. We’re waiting patiently on that one.
