Eddie Murphy Retiring? Say it ain’t so!!

This is upsetting to me. I am a HUGE fan of Eddie Murphy and his contributions to the entertainment industry. He recently sat down and talked to Tanika Ray of “Extra” about leaving the movie business for good after his last film, this is what he said:

“I have close to fifty movies and it’s like, why am I in the movies?” he said, adding, “I’ve done that part now. I’ll go back to the stage and do standup.”

What a blow. He’s ready to walk away and thousands upon thousands of actors in LA are busting their ass just to get one word in a film. This says a lot of things. #1 Don’t give up, Eddie was once in the same position you were in (starving actors) before things started to pick up and now he has an overabundance of work. If you out there hustling trying to make it hold on, it’s right around the corner. #2 always have your eyes open for the next move.  I produced my first feature film The Adventures of Noah Sife about six months ago all by myself. You never know when doors will open up to you that were bigger than your goals. What people don’t know about Eddie is that he’s a huge producer and he produces almost all the films he plays in. Whether he quits or not I just want to say thank you Eddie, you have inspired me and many like me to have the freedom you have. I wish you much success in all your future ventures. Soulja Boy Signs Sneaker Deal With Yums Shoes!!

After giving away millions of dollars in advertising to Bapes, Soulja boy gets his own shoe deal. He signs with Yums shoes. I wonder if they are any affiliation with Yums donuts? Anyways, Yums makes these fruity different colored shoes that have names like Apple and Cherry.

Props to Soulja for getting a shoe deal. I would rock a pair of these, I would have to hook it up just right….Anywayz check out Souljah stuntin in his new Yums…..mmmm, delicious!!

Baron Davis ditches Warriors! Going to the Clippers? 65 Million on the table…

Yesterday Baron Davis opted out of the final year of his contract to become a free agent. He reportedly has a five year 65 million dollar deal on the table with the Clippers. He’s originally from LA, so it’s no surprise he would want to come back home. Here’s what Baron had to say…

“It’s tough, but you have to do what’s best,” said Davis, his usually bushy beard trimmed short below large black-rimmed glasses. “You have to do what’s fair. I’m happy with where I’m going. A big reason is because of the impact and the things that I can do going forward. I knew I could have done them here and created all kinds of good things and positive things in the community, and ultimately, me going home helps me make an impact on young kids.”

All signs point to him coming to LA. He can’t sign until July 9th but you already know. The Clippers have all of the sudden turned into a title hopeful. I hope they do some major damage this year. It would be cool to see them dominate the LA basketball scene for a change, and just in case you were sleeping on “The Beast” Baron Davis, here’s a lil sumthin, sumthin for you. Lil Wayne Starting New Champagne Brand!!

Yup you heard it. Lil Wayne is tossing his hat into the entrepreneurial part of the entertainment industry. He is capitalizing on his success by partnering with Milestone Brands and French grower Voirin-Jumeh to create his own brand of champagne. Get that money bruh! Here’s what Wayne had to say…

“I’m excited about this venture with Milestone Brands,” Lil Wayne told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Champagne is for celebrating. There are so many different business opportunities…I want to take advantage of it all. I’m ready to put my foot in a new door.”

He debuted the Halo champagne in his Lollipop video. You should be able to get your hands on some shortly, to pour on the ass of a lovely young lady. Or waste on the floor as you party like a rock star at the club. Or you can simply enjoy it over a nice dinner. Props to Lil Weezy, doin it big. Sex Offender Arrested for Drinking Little Boy’s Pee!! WTF?

This is one of the nastiest things I have ever heard. This dude just flat out needs his ass beat. I mean come on. Please stare long and hard at that picture, if you see this man anywhere near you or your kids please leave immediately!! His name is Alan Patton and he was caught in a Sports Ohio store bathroom. He apparently shut off the water to the urinals and put cups inside them to collect the pee. (I am disgusted just typing this right now). Employees recognized him as a man they had escorted off the premises months ago for tampering with the toilets. Patton as you guessed is a repeat offender and was caught in 1994 for messing with boys in restrooms. He suffers from urophilia, which I guess causes him to love little boy pee. He was quoted as saying “I feel like I’m drinking their youth.” This guy takes the cake. if you look up the word pervert in the dictionary you will see this picture. I pray that this dude gets some help. But you know what? He’s not going to jail because apparently drinking pee is not a crime. He was charged with criminal mischief which sounds like a misdemeanor. Go figure….

Jay Z to own part of the Yankees?

Man this dude stays busy!! He reportedly met with America’s team yesterday to discuss owning a share of the historic Yankees. (He’s been rockin the hats forever) If this goes through he will put himself on another planet. I’m just taking notes, because if some body’s gettin it, it can be got. Jay inspires me to be great. Angelina Jolie rushed to the hospital! Are the twins OK?

Angelina Jolie checked into a hospital in France today. It turned out the twins are just fine, this has been planned for a long time. She checked in to be under the doctor’s supervision and to get some rest before the baby comes out. The baby is due in August. She really needs rest because they have 4 kids at the crib. Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2. They are gonna have a straight Brady Bunch goin on. It’s cool though, can you imagine the stories and experiences those kids will have to take with them for the rest of their life? Wow…

Chinese Swimmer Banned for Life for Eating Bad Pork!! What??

Ouyang Kunpeng was banned for life from competing for testing positive from doping. Studies show that sometimes athletes test positive for steroids, from eating sweet and sour pork at restaurants in China because of the hormones they give pigs. Wow, this is really sad if he didn’t do it, but this is actually the second time in his career he was busted for illegal substances. This sucks but cheaters never win as you know (cough, New England). I wouldn’t want to get banned for life from anything, I don’t care what it is. What if somebody banned you from doing the macarena for life. Even though the song and dance are old as hell you still wouldn’t want somebody telling you, you couldn’t do it. Hold on….I just did it right now just because I could. I hope Ouyang finds inner pace because a blow like this could psychologically wear on you. Prepaid Iphone! How Much?

Yes, for all you people who don’t want to sign a brand new plump AT&t contract. A “no commitment” Iphone is coming very soon. How much you might ask? Well $599 for the 3G and $699 for the 8G. What the F****? Your paying for the contract in advance and in cash. And I’m sure the minutes aren’t going to be cheap either. What is the value of having one of these with no commitment again? Prepaid phones cost waay more than contract phones in the long run. I had to give up my boost mobile a couple years ago because I couldn’t afford it anymore. Word to the wise: Sign the damn contract!!
