Oprah Winfrey cried her eyelashes off over Obama’s speech…Poweful!!

NoahSife.com has gotten word that Oprah Winfrey was exceptionally moved by Barack’s Speech at the Democratic National Convention:

“I cried my eyelashes off,” she said in the bowels of Invesco Field, moments after Obama accepted the nomination for president before an estimated 84,000 people. “I think it’s the most powerful thing I have ever experienced,” she added, calling Obama’s words “transcendent.” On the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a Dream Speech,” Winfrey compared Obama’s words to those of the civil-rights leader, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

“He’s not an African-American candidate,” she said. “He’s a candidate for Americans.” Winfrey threw her support behind Obama early — even before the Democratic primaries got under way last year. She’s stayed active since, hosting rallies and fundraisers that even Obama has acknowledged have given him a boost.

“He was raised by grandparents who were working-class folks, just like my parents, and by a single mother who struggled to pay the bills, just like we did. And like my family, they scrimped and saved so that he could have opportunities they never had for themselves,” she said.

“And Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values. Like you work hard for what you want in life. That your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do. That you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them.”

Wow, so beautiful and poised. Word is she brought the house down with her powerful words. Props to the Obamas for inspiring a nation…..

Barack Obama disses Ludacris!! Dayyuuum…..

Ludacris recently released a song praising Obama and dissing Hillary Clinton, Jesse Jackson, and George Bush.

Barack Obamas camp didn’t like the song at all and had this to say:

“While Ludacris is a talented individual, he should be ashamed of these lyrics,” Burton responded, and not just because the rapper rhymes “man” with “man”. “As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to.”

Damn! Anytime somebody responds to anything you just did and uses the sentence “You should be ashamed of yourself.” You know you done fucked up! Of course this song is Ludacris being Ludacris. I actually like it, Ludacris is one of my favorite rappers. But the problem is, everybody is trying to bring Barack down to the civilian level. Yeah Barack is down and he listens to rap music and played basketball. But your not going to see him pimping down the street like your uncle Frank. He has to keep a certain amount of prestige about him so he can be adequately viewed as a leader. If he walked out to do a speech and this song was playing everybody would say what the F*** is wrong wit Barack? He has to make moves that are good for everybody not just one genre of people. Props to Luda and Barack, hopefully the up and coming prez will give Luda another chance. Here is the song in question……

This is terrible. How can you be called a credible magazine and you put garbage like this on the cover. I can see you wanting to get readers and subscribers and everything, but at what cost? They are clearly trying to sway the public opinion but it’s not going to happen. Don’t be affected by smear tactics, vote for who you want based on your own personal opinions….

Nas responds to Jesse Jackson’s comments about Barack Obama.

In a nutshell Jesse Jackson said he wanted to cut Barack’s nuts off for saying something about faith. So Nas was asked in an interview how did he feel about Jesse Jackson and he said:

“Jesse Jackson is a player hater.  We don’t need you no more we got Jeezy, David Banner, me. Jesse Jackson ain’t doin nothin to help people in the hood.”

Bill Clinton says “Barack Obama could kiss my A**!!”

This is just uncalled for. Bill Clinton is so soured about his wife losing to Barack Obama that he told friends that the Democratic nominee could “Kiss his ass” for his support.  What a messed up thing to say. Sounds like a sore loser over here. Whether you like the outcome of the game or not you still must walk away with dignity because whatever happened was meant to happen. As long as you gave 100% you didn’t lose. Let’s hope Mr. Clinton changes his tune because I think him and Barrack would make a fantastic team.
